dog2Prep Your Pooches! Strike a Paws! America’s Top Dog Model Organization will Launch its Twelfth Contest on January 15, 2016

The canine-savvy creators of the nation’s favorite, 12th annual dog-modeling calendar are seeking to “Meet the Paw-litician,” the socially conscious theme of the 2016 America’s Top Dog Model® Contest.

“Whether originally bred for working in the fields, hunting wild game, or even just comforting the queen of England, throughout history, dogs have played a significant role in human’s lives,” said Jo Jo Harder, America’s Top Dog Model® CEO. “While in early times people found animal-human relationships important to their very survival, today dogs are considered members of the family and they help people in a variety of ways that can extraordinarily enrich our lives.”

dogAmerica’s Top Dog Model 2016 contestants will be selected on their leadership qualities and best portrayal of their favorite politician, including presidents, first ladies, and prominent political figures, past and present.

Contestants can also be original, and develop their very own Paw-litician to introduce to America.

The contest is famed for rewarding top dogs with “fabulous” prizes, which include the cover of America’s Top Dog Model ® Calendar, custom jewelry from Lola’s for Pets, “USA” theme couture ensemble from Yvette Ruta and Hayleys Hats, a tiara or crown and signature accessories from America’s Top Dog Model ®, and autographed copy of How to Become a Top Dog Model. Eleven finalists will be featured in America’s Top Dog Model® Calendar and website at along with the Top Dog Model winner. They will also receive Pawz Dog Boots and America’s Top Dog Model® signature bandana.
